Welcome to Harmony Hill Wellstead!
Harmony Hill is a newly forming mini Holistic Wellstead in Middle Tennessee. We are actively looking to secure land to grow our Wellstead in Dickson County and surrounding areas making your commute to the Wellstead a beautiful scenic ride through middle TN. Nashville is under an hour from our current location and until we find our forever piece of land to build the Wellstead on, we have found a piece that will be our hypothetical ideal piece of land for now.
Picture yourself waking up in one of our plush yet, holistically focused glamping domes nestled quietly overlooking this natural pond that has the most beautiful blue hue to it as it comes out of the neighboring state protected land and naturally flows down into the mini waterfall and then joins multiple creeks throughout the property.
It’s a breathtaking parcel of land and the mountain ridge is perfect to watch the spectacular sunrise and sunset, has room to roam and more land to expand our Wellstead to eventually offer organic fruits and vegetables, an outdoor teaching space, holistically raised life stock, a nature based sensory playground and 2-1800’s cabins.
We hope to potentially renovate both houses for more options for our glampers. The first time we walked the land, tree houses and glamping sites started to call out to me throughout the property. There is magick on the land already.
Looking for Divine Aligned Investors:
We are currently looking for Divine aligned investors and partners to bring the future of Harmony Hill into reality sooner rather than later. We are now fine tuning the build out plans for our holistic focused glamping program and envision so many amazing experiences for all ages to enjoy while visiting our Wellstead.
We are working on securing the perfect piece of land in the coming months and will hopefully be offering nature-based luxury accommodations by the middle of 2025. We hope to eventually offer year round glamping experiences for all to enjoy for years to come.
If we need to explore other land temporarily, we are willing to do that for now, but I do feel this parcel some how and some way is the future home of Harmony Hill. It checks all the boxes I envisioned this layout over three years ago, including having a one room old cabin (plus the other 2-1800’s houses) we can potentially renovate that will afford me the luxury of eventually sitting in my office and look out the windows and seeing my organic gardens, watching my livestock living their best life and hear the creek out the window as I offer my healing arts of Reiki, Intuitive Parent Coaching, Energy Healing, 1:1 Expansion Experience, Spiritual Gifts Mentoring, Intuitive Business Mentoring, Inner Child Healing, and advocacy for domestic abuse overcomers.
As a side note, if you are in search of energy healing, intuitive Coaching, Reiki and other healing arts, you can schedule here at my Calendar. I will be transferring all the relevant information over for the Wellstead in time from the Healing Home Coaching website but for now, you can check out more about me at Healing Home Coaching.
As you can tell from the healing arts that I utilize to support my clients in their healing journey, you can see that spiritual and energetic healing is very important to experience during ones healing journey. As an Intuitive Healer, I have a great reverence for God/Creator/Divine, Mother Earth and with that creates a focus on faith, family and communing in nature whenever possible.
While my background is in clinical work, my Divine purpose is to heal what ails the soul. Creating a holistic glamping program will be a tool to connect with other nature based loving people and offer holistic practices and approaches within our glamping wellstead for those who need our services, while also welcoming our non-glampers for the holistic healing arts Harmony Hill is growing to be known for. The land already offers healing that traditional healing practices will never be able to compete with and that brings me so much JOY!
Will you join me in creating a holistic glamping movement?
Why Middle Tennessee?
Our region of Tennessee doesn’t really have a lot of glamping options to begin with (that I am aware of), let alone a holistic glamping experience that provides beautiful nature-based features and intentionally uses more natural products and services. As a crunchy momma myself, I am mindful of those desiring to embrace a more crunchy/holistic lifestyle and Harmony Hill will offer alternatives for as many things as possible. I believe that a “holistic/crunchy” lifestyle is on a spectrum and I appreciate understanding that each person’s scale of what is holistic or crunchy is different.
Why so crunchy?
I didn’t use to be as crunchy as I am now but with the humor of Emily Morrow of Really Very Crunchy, and her crunchy satire social media channels, I have been able to more openly accept the fact, that I am a pretty crunchy momma even though I still like using paper towels and occasionally bio-degradeable utensils. I strive daily to make my 70/30ish to consistently be more like 80/20 or higher. If your a Really Very Crunchy fan, you know what I am talking about here.
This past spring, the wildling and I, were so excited for Emily to release her brand new book, Really Very Crunchy: A Beginner’s Guide to Removing Toxins from Your Life without Adding Them to Your Personality, and she has inspired me to fully embrace all aspects of the holistic/crunchy lifestyle even more than we already do as much as possible.
It was at one of Emily’s book signings, that the wildling and I went to get our own copy of Emily’s new book that I told Emily and her husband, Jason, more about the Wellstead plans I have been working on for a long time. We had recently experienced some setbacks I share about below and Emily was so encouraging of the concept of the holistic Wellstead and I knew right then and there that since Really Very Crunchy approved, I was going to make it happen one way or another.
Emily and Jason, even gifted me 4 copies of her new book! I am so excited to get the glamping part of the Wellstead up and running and I can’t wait to feature these beautiful books for our glampers to enjoy. Thank you, Emily and Jason!
Like Emily, I am also deeply committed to living a natural and sustainable lifestyle as much as possible and I want to expand that into our glamping and Harmony Hill Wellstead experiences for all to enjoy. While Emily will always be able to “out crunchy” me, I have found myself thinking, what would a barefoot crunchy momma like Emily, want to experience while glamping at our Wellstead? What holistic healing experiences would she want to take part in? Would she let her boys play in our creeks? Would she want to join one of our foraging classes during our Learning Land promotion? So many things go through my mind at once (thank you to my beautifully neurodiverse brain wiring) when I think of all the crunchy mommas, Emily unites and I want all of them to eventually experience Harmony Hill for themselves.
Just the thought of Harmony Hill being a gathering place for all the crunchy mommas and those wanting to experience a healthier lifestyle or learn how to be more aligned with mother nature brings me so much JOY of the amazing things Harmony Hill can create. That is why, Harmony Hill must find it’s homeland soon.
While Emily’s Really Very Crunchy character has helped me decide a few things already about what we want to offer our glampers and Wellstead partakers, she truly is a wholesome and happy example of the kind of family I know will wholeheartedly enjoy our Wellstead one day soon. I am forever grateful for Emily and her Really Very Crunchy YT channel. She is the crunchy momma I wish to one day grow up to be if I ever do really grow up.
Our Wellstead will enhance our community:
Our community needs this Wellstead and we know that the holistic touch will be a beautiful compliment to our glamping experiences and we will stand out in the glamping industry because of our approach to living a more nature-based and natural lifestyle. We know that what is good for the Wellstead will also enhance and empower the surrounding communities. We want to buy local whenever possible and offer our local providers the first opportunity to network and provide their services to our glampers and wellsteaders whenever possible.
I am looking forward to building more connections with the community because of the Wellstead.
I am excited to see how we can partner with Farm2Table providers, local healers, artisans and faith-based organizations. I wonder what kind of special benefits I can offer for our glampers to enjoy in our surrounding areas? Activities such as seeing Dinosours or the Tesla coils at the Wonders Center in Dickson would be amazing for all ages (I will have to find the video on that. It’s spectacular) or Kayaking down the Harpeth River in Kingston Springs and let’s not forget to go to Sweet T’s Gelato in White Bluff as you explore our beautiful homeland.
We have a handful of really cool hiking trails with the Narrows of the Harpeth River being our favorite. We will also be able to provide seasonal jobs for our community. There are so many opportunities to enrich our community through our Wellstead.
Teaching the Lost Arts of Living:
The lost art of living on the land needs to be brought to multiple generations that have not been taught how to thrive in the wild like our ancestors. The Wellstead will be able to be a place to relearn and teach these skills. We will also partner with local homesteaders and farmers to source as many produces as we can in our future Connection Camp Store and if your really interested, my hope is to eventually offer fresh farm2table dining on the Wellstead.
Or perhaps we will go as far as you picking your own vegetables to have with your meal in the morning and you come back for lunch or dinner to enjoy what you have harvested from our gardens. Our Connection Campstore will have local grown canned goods and other products from our community and from other providers that we have vetted that meet our standard of craftsmanship and ethical business practices. We hope to eventually offer a kitchen and meeting space for teaching and learning.
Harmony Hill will be a safe place to… HEAL, GROW and THRIVE!
As a living history reenactor, there are so many skills that I know that most people know nothing about. During different events over the years, one of my favorite things to do is to teach about the ways of the ancestors. Things like how to build a fire, creating your own beeswax candles, soap making, foraging, wilderness First Aid and even natural dying clothes. There are so many things we can offer to educate and empower others to live on their own terms and not depend on the system to tell them how to think, eat and what to do with their bodies. Having spent weeks at a time camping (for fun) I see the need for everyone to have the skills to survive and thrive in the wilderness if need be.
The Wellstead will offer these kinds of workshops and networking opportunities for our community and our Wellstead guests. It is an exciting time to be here to follow our story unfolding.
In our search to make this Wellstead come to life…
We Had a BIG Set Back:
At the end of 2023 and into 2024, we experienced a disheartened case of fraud with an “investor” pretending to be a holistic minded well-connected funder that loved the concept of the Wellstead and presented himself in a way that led us to believe that he could be our personal funder for the land and other renovation projects, but unfortunately this person, instead, stole a large sum of money from us in the process and which involved additional real estate fraud. The plan was that after we had renovated the house package that we had “partnered” with him, this man was selling us by owner financing, that the profits would be used to secure the perfect piece of land we have actively been searching for the past three plus years.
Turns out, it was a well thought out scam instead and the houses we thought we owned are not ours to renovate after all. This has had a ripple effect in our lives and we are still working through the situation at hand. It has given us the opportunity to reevaluate what is truly important in our lives and that is to blaze a trail of our own making.
Society norms have never been my benchmark for success so we are using this unfortunate situation to create the life we really want and that is to commune with mother earth whenever we want and live a holistic nature-based lifestyle like my ancestors have done here in middle TN for many generations.
While this setback hasn’t been an ideal situation, this dream of having a holistic wellness center has been in my heart for many years, and we are not letting some con artist stop us from making this a reality. I can feel the essence of my Divine Mission to build this land into a healing sanctionary with natural healing at the epicenter.
Who do you know that would be a good fit for this business venture with us?
Ideally, they would need to be or at least see the benefits of the holistically lifestyle and want to create a positive ripple effect in the world by thinking outside of the box and blazing their own trail with us. The sky’s the limit at this point. Crunchy glamping takes camping to a whole new level which would be a tool to fund the efforts of the Wellstead for those needing assistance to receiving the healing arts. In essence, eventually, I want to be able to make the Wellstead itself, a non-profit which would have for-profit properties and services to then fund the community based classes and experiences.
This Started with a Dream:
When I was a teenager (almost 25 years ago) I was given a dream to start a healing center for abused children and use equine therapy to help the kids work through their traumas. Years passed, I graduated college and went to work helping kids in juvenile drug court and delinquents in my local community in Central Florida. More time passed and I fell in love with a Casanova turned farmer with a hot temper. That led me down a path like so many other women and by the time I had enough of the shenanigans being married to someone with a short fuse, I had a lot of trauma to work through.
After I spent the better part of 8 years working with children in foster care, I was catapulted into a spiritual awakening that changed my life and through my expansion, I yearned for a safe place to call home. A place that connected me to nature in a safe way, and had the space to have my wildling to be able to roam free when desired and I could rebuild my life from the ashes of my former life. A life I loved, but couldn’t thrive in anymore because of the years of covert abuse.
Needless to say, the wildling and I left the homestead with very little material things to start over with but I had hope and I was on the search for a peaceful life.
It was during this time that I put my dreams to have my healing center on the shelf so I could do my own healing and practice what I had been preaching for a long time. “Give yourself permission to heal.” I even talked about this very thing in my TEDx talk.
It was a rough road and I had been convinced that I couldn’t offer the world anything if I couldn’t even heal the anger seething out of the pores of my former spouse. It was just toxic mind games, but I believed those lies about myself for a long time. While I knew I wasn’t in a position to have a healing center while going through this life experience, I knew that I had 12 years worth of trauma to heal so I could eventually be a vibrational match to holding the biggest goal of my life and bring it into reality.
As I pieced my life back together and worked through the mind f**ry of leaving an abusive marriage, my inner critic began to shift into more compassion for myself.
I found my voice again! I found my courage again! I found my joy again!
One of the main reasons I found those things quicker than most do when leaving an abusive situation, is that I was able to commune with nature and let the healing frequencies of Mother Earth ripple through my soul. Connecting with nature was part of my healing journey. I believe it can heal what ails the soul faster than traditional approaches many times. Your healing journey may be different than mine, and I honor your choices to receive your own interventions and treatments, but do consaider the fact the even the earth has her own frequency and it is one of peace, healing and of love.
This is another driving force behind building a holistic wellstead. I want Harmony Hill to be a healing place for those walking through their healing journey, especially mommas (and their children) rebuilding their lives after abuse or perhaps needing a place that is safe from the many facets of leaving an abusive situation.
I want to eventually have a non-profit division of Harmony Hill that can offer additional resources, scholarships and services beyond our glamping accommodations. Women who need safety or need a job so that they can bring in what they need to take care of their family without feeling trapped in an unsafe situation will be given preference when applicable.
