Creek inspiration for Harmony Hill Wellstead

🌄 Imagine This…

Picture yourself waking up in one of our plush yet holistically focused geodesic glamping domes, nestled quietly among the trees and overlooking a serene blue-hued creek. The water winds gently through the land, flowing past a mini waterfall before joining multiple creeks that weave across the property.

The morning mist floats up from the hollow and creek bottom. A mama deer and her twin fawns munch on the lush spring grass just beginning to emerge from its winter slumber.

This breathtaking parcel of land offers a sacred blend of elemental beauty and quiet magic. From all corners of the property you can watch both sunrise and sunset paint the sky. There’s space to roam, to plant, to dream — and to grow our Wellstead.

The vision includes:

  • Plenty of space for 6 (Phase I) upwards to 20 (Phase II) Holistically Managed Luxury Geodesic Dome Tents Sites with fire pit, wood fire hot tub, and picnic table

  • An organic managed vegetable garden and pollinator field

  • Outdoor teaching pavilion present or space to build it

  • Holistically raised livestock

  • Nature-based sensory playground and flowing creek(s)

  • Wellness Services Cabin and in Tent Perks such as Red light Masks and grounding mats

  • At least one original 1800’s cabin, full of history and spirit

We dream of restoring any and all potential historic homes, cabins, and structures to offer potentially additional lodging for our guests — sacred spaces for those seeking deep rest, reconnection, and renewal.

Each time I walk a parcel of land, treehouses and glamping sites whisper to me. There is an unmistakable presence of elemental magic on our future land.

💫 Calling in Divine-Aligned Investors & Partners

Harmony Hill is seeking spiritually aligned investors and partners who feel the resonance of this vision — not only as a business opportunity, but as a calling to co-create something meaningful, regenerative, and lasting.

We are currently fine-tuning the build-out for our holistic-focused glamping experience, with plans to offer luxurious yet nature-honoring accommodations, rooted in wellness and ancestral wisdom.

We envision:

  • 🌿 Intimate, year-round glamping stays

  • 🌿 Nature-immersive workshops and retreats for all ages

  • 🌿 Herbalism, gardening, and earth-based learning programs

  • 🌿 Spaces for families and mothers healing from trauma

  • 🌿 Connection Campstore for holistic goodies, dye free snacks, locally sourced handmade crafts and things found throughout the Glampground that you can take home with you to enjoy.
  •
  • 🌿 Sacred sites for ceremony, creativity, and soul work while communing with Mother Nature

Our hope is to secure the ideal land in the coming months and begin welcoming our guest by the end of 2025.

🌿 Why Middle Tennessee?

Middle Tennessee holds a sacred and underutilized potential for nature-based healing and mindful tourism. While the region offers rolling hills, ancient forests, hidden creeks, and breathtaking ridgelines, it’s currently lacking in holistic glamping destinations — especially those intentionally designed for the “crunchy” or naturally-minded family.

As a crunchy momma myself, I understand the longing for travel experiences that are not only beautiful but also aligned with a lifestyle rooted in simplicity, sustainability, and soul care.

Harmony Hill will be that experience — a sanctuary that honors nature, nurtures well-being, and gives families the freedom to unplug, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what matters most.

We’re committed to building a place that feels nourishing to the earth and to the people who visit — barefoot walking, stargazing, and beeswax candles at a time.

🥬 Why So Crunchy?

I didn’t start out this crunchy… but I’ve certainly grown into it — thanks in part to the hilarious and heartfelt content from Emily Morrow and her Really Very Crunchy platform. Her satirical lens on crunchy living gave me the freedom to embrace my own lifestyle with pride — even if I still use paper towels once in a while or occasionally opt for biodegradable utensils.

I’d say I’m currently living that 70/30 crunchy lifestyle, working my way toward 80/20 (or better). And if you’re a Really Very Crunchy fan, you know exactly what I mean.

Last spring, my daughter (aka “the wildling”) and I attended one of Emily’s book signings for her beautiful guide, Really Very Crunchy: A Beginner’s Guide to Removing Toxins from Your Life Without Adding Them to Your Personality. That day, I shared my Wellstead vision with Emily and her husband Jason. Despite the setbacks we’d recently faced, they were genuinely encouraging — and in that moment, I knew this dream had roots that would grow.

To my surprise and delight, they even gifted us four copies of their book! Those copies will be waiting at Harmony Hill for our future glampers to enjoy — right alongside organic tea, cozy herbal balms, and toxin-free linens.

Emily’s work has inspired me to think deeply about what a crunchy momma like her (or like me) would want to experience while glamping:

  • 🌱 Would she let her boys splash barefoot in our creeks?

  • 🌱 Would she join a foraging class or attend one of our Learning Land programs?

  • 🌱 Would she sneak off to the wellness cabin for a Reiki session?

Thanks to my beautifully neurodiverse brain, my vision for Harmony Hill is vivid and ever-expanding — and includes the joyful gathering of crunchy mamas and nature-loving families from all over.

So yes — we’re crunchy.
Intentionally. Wholeheartedly. Joyfully.
Because this is the future we want to help shape.

🌱 How the Harmony Hill Wellstead Will Enrich Our Community

Our community needs this Wellstead.

Harmony Hill is not just a glamping site — it’s a nature-based sanctuary designed to restore the land, revitalize local economies, and reawaken the ancient rhythms of a holistic lifestyle. With our intentional approach to living naturally and connecting to the land, we will offer an experience unlike any other in the region.

We are committed to:

  • 🌾 Buying local and giving first opportunities to regional providers, farmers, and artisans.

  • 🌾 Offering seasonal jobs and skill-sharing workshops.

  • 🌾 Creating a network hub for healers, homesteaders, and creators to share their gifts with our guests.

  • 🌾 Highlighting nearby gems like kayaking the Harpeth River, visiting the Wonders Center in Dickson, and eating at Sweet T’s Gelato in White Bluff.

We are excited to partner with Farm2Table providers, faith-based organizations, local healers, and other changemakers to make Middle Tennessee a destination for conscious travelers, families, and healing-seekers alike.

🔥 Teaching the Lost Arts of Living

One of our core missions is to reclaim the lost art of living in harmony with the land — and pass those skills on to future generations.

As a living history reenactor, I’ve spent years teaching skills that most people have never learned: how to start a fire, craft beeswax candles, forage safely, make natural dyes, or prepare wilderness first aid kits. These aren’t just fun activities — they are liberating, empowering, and potentially life-saving.

Through workshops, retreats, and community programs, we will reconnect people to their ancestral wisdom and offer a new (old) way of thriving. We hope to offer:

  • 🌿 Farm2Table dining with produce harvested by guests

  • 🌿 A Connection Campstore featuring locally sourced goods and ethically made products

  • 🌿 A teaching kitchen and meeting space for hands-on learning, cooking, and collaboration

💔 Turning Pain into Purpose: Our Setback Story

In late 2023 and into 2024, we experienced a devastating betrayal. An individual posing as a holistic-minded investor lured us into a fraudulent deal — resulting in a major financial loss, real estate deception, and the unraveling of a renovation plan we believed would be the springboard for our land purchase.

It was heartbreaking. But it was also clarifying.

Rather than crumble, we chose to rise — and recommit to the deeper purpose behind Harmony Hill. Society’s version of success has never been our guidepost. This dream — a healing sanctuary rooted in holistic living and sacred connection to the earth — will become reality.

I am reclaiming the land that speaks to me. A land where I will one day offer Reiki and energy healing as I look out at thriving gardens, content livestock, and the healing flow of the creek. A land where I will offer sanctuary for others to heal and come home to themselves.

🌟 Calling In Divine-Aligned Investors & Partners

Do you know someone who feels called to create this future with us?

We are seeking aligned investors and visionary partners who:

  • 🌻 Understand the importance of spiritual, emotional, and ecological healing

  • 🌻 See value in sustainable, ethical tourism

  • 🌻 Want to leave a legacy of empowerment, education, and restoration

  • 🌻 Believe in funding beauty, truth, and freedom — not just profits

Eventually, we hope the Wellstead will become a non-profit hub/foundation, with for-profit offerings like glamping and handcrafted goods sustaining community classes, holistic services, and scholarships for those in need of healing.

🌻 This Dream Started Long Ago

Almost 25 years ago, as a teenager, I dreamed of creating a healing center for abused children with equine therapy at its core.

That dream evolved.

After years working with at-risk youth, navigating toxic relationships, and walking through my own deep trauma healing, I awakened to a new calling — one that would bring together everything I’ve lived through and everything I’ve learned.

Now, as a neurodivergent mother and healer, I dream of a place where my daughter can run barefoot in freedom… where other families can detox from the noise of the world… where the wounded can heal in safety, and the curious can relearn how to live in rhythm with the land.

We left behind our old life with little more than hope — but that hope has grown roots.

Harmony Hill is no longer just a dream —
it’s MY Divine mission.

🌿 From Survival to Sacred Vision: The Deeper Why Behind Harmony Hill

There was a season in my life when I had to put my dreams of a healing center on the shelf. Not because I gave up — but because I knew I needed to first practice what I had long preached:

“Give yourself permission to heal.”

I even spoke these very words from the TEDx stage.

At the time, I was living inside the storm of a toxic, manipulative marriage. And like so many women, I believed the lie that I had to fix someone else’s pain before I was allowed to tend to my own. I thought I couldn’t offer the world anything until I figured out how to heal the seething anger of the former spouse. But deep down, I knew I needed to reclaim myself — my voice, my spirit, and my sovereignty.

It took years of healing and unwinding from the mind games and emotional wreckage.

It took courage. And it took time.

But as I pieced my life back together, something sacred happened — my inner critic began to soften. Compassion entered. And then came clarity.

  • ✨ I found my voice again.

  • ✨ I found my courage again.

  • ✨ I found my joy again.

And one of the most powerful allies in that process? Nature!

Communing with Mother Earth — feeling her frequencies ripple through my nervous system — offered a healing that no therapist’s office ever could. (Though I honor all healing paths — and I invite you to honor yours.)

There is wisdom in the soil.

There is peace in the ancient woods.

There is truth in the wind that whispers when the world is quiet.

This is one of the driving forces behind building Harmony Hill Wellstead — to create a safe, soul-restoring place for others to come home to themselves. Especially for mothers rebuilding their lives after abuse, or anyone walking through a healing season.

💛 Supporting Women on Their Journey to Safety & Sovereignty

Eventually, I dream of opening a non-profit division of Harmony Hill that offers:

  • Scholarships and healing retreats for women and children in transition.

  • Safe and dignified employment opportunities for those rebuilding after trauma.

  • Community-based healing that reminds women they are not alone — and they are not broken.

When applicable, we will give priority to women seeking to reestablish independence, safety, and financial freedom, especially those coming from abusive situations.

This is not just a business. It’s a mission. It’s a calling.
